This was the video that started us on the path to getting certified as a commercial Part 107 drone pilot. I met a new friend at a political election watch party for a candidate whom I was supporting. My new friend offered to let me come fly out at his property in an adjacent county where he had 30+ acres of undeveloped land. His business was only using about 8 of those acres and his cows enjoyed the rest. I went out there to fly one weekend and got curious about what his business was doing. Turns out they were recycling asphalt roofing shingles and turning the product into RAS, which was then used as a base for asphalt materials on roads. Very environmentally friendly. I returned during the week while they were operating the grinders and made this video about the recycling industry.
