Every once in awhile we’ve just got to go fly for fun. We spotted this nature park on our way up Hwy 281 to Spider Mountain and could not resist the temptation to fly one of our drones over the wildflowers like a big bee. This is a scenic view that you can’t get any other way. If you had walked out into the field, you would have been trampling all over the flowers. This was a windy day, wind gusts 15-20mph, but the DJI Mavic 2 Pro drone handled the wind quite well. See video text description for more details. Note: there weren’t many other visitors to this park while we were there, so flying a drone with low noise propellers didn’t disrupt anyone else’s peaceful experience that afternoon.
