Basically the drone makes a pass over the site, taking multiple photos straight down, then those photos are stitched together to make one large mosaic photo. In this case, the photos were only 4k resolution and were taken from several hundred feet in the air. (Note: This site isn’t under contract with us. It was just nearby another construction site that we were monitoring and wanted to use this as an example of how aerial drone photography can be used. We kept the drone up high to avoid distracting the employees and to ensure we didn’t fly over anyone.)
These two photos were taken at a construction site being built by RC Page Construction on the northwest side of San Antonio. It will become a multi-story medical office building once completed. It’s located off Hwy 151, near Westover Hills Blvd.
